Well, aint it funny, Current TV put my idea about this stuff being a good idea for foundation's for building's in earthquake area's back onto the post's later the next day, but themn I got cut off from logging into Current TV after that, so i'm googling about for a bit. Funny stuff though, remind's me of cornflower mixed with a drop of water, it has the same solidifying effect when hit hard. maybe it's the same stuff with a gell added to it to keep it together, mmmm?

Yeah, but could this stuff be used in the foundation's of building's to shock proof them under the building in an earthquake, and solidify itself where it's taking the hardest vibration's from the earth up, but dissipate the higher it got? in short, would it still be a soft jelly platform with a building sitting on the top of it hardly moving at all in a 7.6 on the rictor?

How about a neck brace of made of d3o, because if you have a head injury then you're doing to have a neck injury... it would work well with a hoody, although you'd need most all the d30 to become ridged... what about memory, if impacted the material becomes ridged in a predetermined shape?
